Governor Martin O'Malley recently signed an
executive order calling for a 60-day state review of
current state regulations with the intent of changing and/or eliminating regulations to spur faster job creation. State agencies have already started to review their regulations in order to identify those that are duplicative or outdated or create an unnecessary barrier to job creation, and they will be submitting reports to the Governor in a few weeks.
